Traceability

All palm oil produced by our companies is fully traceable, with a total area of managed land of 41,148.35 has.

We obtain fresh fruit bunches from our plantations, from carefully selected suppliers and from known and documented sources. Total sawn area is 38,628.50 has., we have 1,274.33 has. without planting.

In the organization we do not have fruit suppliers under the small producers scheme. The model used in the organization is from Outgrower, which are fruit producers under a contract with the company.

At Grupo HAME from 2020 we have created a fruit purchasing protocol with a requirement that our suppliers comply with standards of no deforestation, no peat plantations and no exploitation and are signatories of the NDPE standard of our companies.

Due to its liquid nature, palm oil cannot be traced as a solid object, however, used methods include the scope of the RSPO standard of chain of custody, meeting the highest industry standards.

We buy the fruit directly from agricultural production companies, without participation of intermediaries. This mechanism provides us with transparency in our supply chain: the more direct the supply chain is, the better, which is why we have maps that show the locations and the supplier plantations.

We know the exact location and the land use history of each oil palm plantation that supplies to us, so we know that they have not expanded into prohibited areas and have no intention of doing so. Raw materials that we are supplied with are from specific plantations, detailed in our contracts.

Our companies have no outstanding land reserves for new plantations Landbank=0.00 Ha.

The company has five extraction plants, located in Link location extraction plants: Mill Maps

Currently our companies have traceability of 100% from field to refinery, all the supply comes from the Group’s own operations.
